Danny J. Walker, 66, of Fairfield, died at 3:04am on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Fairfield Memorial Hospital. He had worked at Champion Laboratories in Albion for over 40 years. He had also been a farmer for many years.

Danny was born on May 31, 1957, in Fairfield, to William "Sam" Arnold and Joyce Eleanor (Cox) Walker. He was a member of the Merriam Community Church in Fairfield.

Survivors include his son Dallas (April) Walker and his daughter Marie Bransford, both of Fairfield, four grandchildren Izabell Walker, Izaiah Walker, Loretta Walker, and Jay'sha Greer, a brother Gary (Linda) Walker of Wayne City, IL, two sisters-in-law Kathy Walker of Mt. Erie and Debbie Walker of Fairfield, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers Larry Walker, Ray Walker, and Steve Walker.

Funeral services for Danny Walker will be at 1 pm next Friday, December 29th , at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield, with burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11am until the time of service at the funeral home.  Memorial donations can be made to help with funeral expenses and will be accepted at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
