Colten "Harley" Stewart, 24, of Cisne, died at 9:09am on Friday, July 14, 2023, as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Olney, IL. He had worked at Precision Plugging for 4 years as a floor hand behind an oil rig.

Harley was born on May 19, 1999, in Mt. Vernon, IL, to John and Mindy (Morgan) Stewart. He graduated with the Wayne City High School class of 2018.

Survivors include his parents John and Mindy Stewart of Cisne, his fiance' Elisabeth Oestreich and daughter Delaney Rose Stewart both of Clay City, IL, two  brothers Brennan Stewart and Sawyer Stewart both of Cisne, a sister Montana Stewart of Cisne, paternal grandparents Tennessee and Ruth Stewart of Wayne City, IL, maternal grandparents Cynthia Morgan of Sims, IL and Junior Morgan of Johnsonville, IL, his maternal great grandmother Elsie Austin of Sims, IL, along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his great grandparents Robert and Ruby Kittle, Lawrence and Bessie Morgan, and Harold Austin.

Funeral services for Harley Stewart will be at 11am on Friday, July 21st at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield, with burial to follow in the Cisne Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4pm-7pm on Thursday, July 20th at the funeral home.  Memorial donations can be made to help with funeral expenses and will be accepted at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
