Betty Lou Hodge, 97, of Fairfield passed away at 7PM on Tuesday January 23, 2024, at Aperion Care in Fairfield. She had retired from Airtex after many years of being the secretary to Ralph Ulm. Betty was born in Fairfield on April 18, 1926, to Morris E and Pauline (Wolf) Holmes.

Betty is survived by son- Mark (Martha) Hodge of Fairfield; daughters- Gayla Lee of Fairfield and Cheryl (Mike) Harmon of Mount Juliet TN; eight grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; sister- Patti (Jim) Pollard of Fairfield; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband- John Hodge, infant daughter- Carol Ann, brother Morris Holmes, and sisters- Norma Jean McConnel and Carloyn Files.

Funeral Services will be held at 1PM on Friday January 26, 2024, at Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Wayne County Humane Society and will be accepted at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home.
