Alberta Legg, 91 of Fairfield passed away on August 6, 2023, at Cisne Rehab and Healthcare.  Alberta was born on August 28, 1931, in Fairfield to Dwight and Essie (Rich) Legg, who preceded her in death.  She was a retired bookkeeper.  Alberta was also a dedicated lifelong member of the Fairfield Church of God for fifty plus years.

Alberta is survived by one son David (LaDonna) Legg of Fairfield, two granddaughters, Crystal Wheeler and Melissa (Adam) Rutger; great grandchildren: Private First-Class Remington Wheeler, Alivia Cooper, Anthony Rutger, and Myles Rutger; two sisters, Agnes Gregory of Fairfield and Lanora (Marvin) Hardman of Orleans, IN; two sisters in law, Linda Legg and Marlyn Legg of Fairfield, plus several nieces and nephews.  Also preceding her in death were three brothers, Howard "Poncho" Legg, Russel Legg, and Charles Dale Legg.

Funeral Services for Alberta Legg will be held at 10 AM, Friday, August 11th at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
